Recently picked
up a book on doing filigree suncatchers using lead
came...want to give that a try. Some really lovely, ornate
ideas.
Triangular table lamps made out of scrap glass.
Faries in a jar...kinda like when
we were kids and would catch fireflies.
I'd like to make some candle
holders/cozys that would work for folks who belong to the
Society for
Creative Anachronism (something I'd love to get involved
with!!).
I've already made a huge memory box, and my sister,
Sarah Zink,
has it. It's in memory of my Aunt Callie and Uncle
Clint. They family homestead was off
Blue Rock Road in North Carolina. It's been sold
at least a couple times since they passed, and the property
no longer looks like I remember it. But when we were kids
and went to visit in the summer, there was a place on their
property that was truly enchanted. Mossy ground,
shaded by pines, surrounded by huge rhododendrons...the
perfect places for faries to dwell, and a child's
imagination to find magic. I'm going to create another
one, but it can ONLY be sold to someone who lives in the
Columbus, Ohio area who can personally pick up the piece.
This is not be something that can be shipped.
